We need to restore collaboration between people,
to rediscover wonder and empathy for Life on Earth.

We need to fall back in love with our buildings, with nature, with the landscape around us, with the everyday environment we inhabit.

This landscape needs to become extraordinary again:
to stimulate our senses, awaken emotion, create memories, and grow in us empathy toward “the other.”

To rediscover wonder for Life is also to rediscover mental health, clarity, and harmony with what surrounds us.

Thus, through collaboration, we will have a living, ethical economy.

Thus, sustainability becomes something that uplifts us, not something that deprives us.

Thus, all living beings will be welcomed in harmony.

Thus, we will be united in our differences and in mutual respect.

Thus, we will have a “simple” life—which is, after all, the highest sophistication.

We will no longer build mere buildings: we will live in ecosystems.
Alive, practical, comfortable, and beautiful—
enhancing our health and our state of mind within them.
Created by humans, for humans—and not only.

Architecture, the art of expressing life, expresses everywhere and every day our desire to be part of this wonderful and diverse whole we call Life!

These are the values of our time; these are the challenges of our time.

The stakes are high.

As Frank Lloyd Wright said:
“All fine architectural values are human values, else not valuable.”
